about About me

I was hooked on black and white photography years ago, the first time I saw some Cartier Bresson photographs . I couldn’t believe the subtlety possible in a monochrome medium. Robbed of distracting colours, the composer is force to create a focus point from texture, shadow and form. Suddenly less becomes more, and what you leave out of the frame can be as important as what you include or maybe nothing at all is so complicated and this is the result of my problems of colorblind.

Often what makes a good photograph is more about what comes out of your head than what is in front of your eyes.

I try not to take myself too seriously here and post stuff that may not always be technically brilliant, but that holds interest for me personally. Who knows, some of it may hold some interest for you too…
